I started my career in 1997, flogging popcorn at school.
I am now an Art Director and Copywriter with experience in earned, paid and owned media.
Career highlights include facing up to Kung-fu masters and writing about it at Time Out Shanghai.
I was then lucky enough to form 50% of BBDO Shanghai's Content Planning team, producing General Electric's content in China and South Korea.
Upon returning to the UK, I worked at Joint London, developing creative ideas for Amazon, TSB, Thatchers, Vue, UKTV and Badger Ale.
For the last couple of years I have been working as a creative at Freuds.
Whilst at Freuds I have been creating and developing ideas across a range of their accounts including; Amazon Prime, TSB, Pepsi, Uber, Nike, KFC, Evian, Guinness, UBS, Dubai, Compare the Market, The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation, Heston and a number of others...
From selling Zinger burgers to mortgages, every day has been different but exciting.
In 2017 I founded my own initiative, Steel Warriors. This looks to raise awareness around knife crime by melting down confiscated and surrendered knives taken off the streets and recycling them into outdoor calisthenics gyms. Classes are hosted by ‘virtual trainers’.
